The Inflatables are an Ipswich based party band whose goal is to get your guests onto the dancefloor and to ensure that your event goes with a swing. We are not background music! Be prepared to be entertained!
We play a wide range of music to suit all tastes, from the sixties to the present day, and are sufficiently competent to tailor our set on the night according to the mood of the guests.
We make a real effort to ensure that our stage shows engage with our audience. Especially popular are the brightly coloured inflatable instruments that we freely hand out to your partygoers, which we find encourages participation and interaction between the band and your guests.
The band comprises a group of professional musicians whose aim is to provide a professional, entertaining performance. We have performed at countless functions and weddings over many years in a large number of local and regional venues. You may also have seen some of us before in Titian Red, Riff Raff, Souled As Seen, Shy At The Chemist and other cover bands.

Our package includes:
- The band performance for a length of time to be mutually agreed; typically this will be thirty to forty songs, or two to three hours of live music.
- Pre-mixed CDs of backing / disco music as required for between sets, according to your needs.
- Full front of house sound system, scaled to an appropriate size for your venue, including radio microphones which may be used for speeches or announcements by prior arrangement.
- Varied lighting rigs, both for the stage area and for the dancefloor.
Our charge for the complete Inflatables package is based upon variables such as size of venue, number of guests, event times, and travelling distances. Please contact us for a firm quotation. We do not aim to be the cheapest, but we do aim to be the best, and our guestbook is full of past clients who were very happy to have booked us for their special occasion.

We have very few terms and conditions, and none that will cause you any problem. When quoting for your event we will have assumed the following:
1. When accepting your booking we ask for a non-returnable deposit of £50. The balance is payable by cheque no later than 2 weeks prior to your date.
2. We will arrive at the venue about 2 hours prior to the band playing. We will then require complete access to the stage area. If this does not meet your requirements, or you need us to set up earlier in the day please make us aware of this as soon as possible, and we can price accordingly. We will need 1 hour after finishing playing to pack away.
3. We need an area of minimum 5m wide by 3m deep for the band, more if possible. A stage is preferable but not essential. We need adequate power supply, as a minimum this should be 4 x 13 amp plug sockets (ie not a 4 way splitter fed from a single 13 amp plug).
4. We do not require a dressing room or any particular hospitality, however if there is a room we can use for getting changed in, it is appreciated. We do not require a bar tab or any particular food, however an invitation to the buffet table is always appreciated.
5. We will play up to 11:30pm, and can play recorded music for another 30 minutes after that to take us to midnight. Our quotation will not cover playing any later than that unless specified.
